Who Czechs like or relationship with other nations

Public Opinion Research Center, Institute of Sociology, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic has published the results of annual research about relationship of Czech people to other nations.

There are five groups or marks that were used to separate nations. It is possible to translate it in different ways, but let me use these marks: excellent, good, bad, very bad and extremely bad. Here is the ranking of the nations:

1.
Czech

2.
Slovak
French
Swedish
British
Austrian
Greek

3.
Polish
Japanese
Hungarian
American
German
Indian
Lithuanian

4.
Serbian
Russian
Ukrainian
Israeli
Chinese
Turkish
Kurdish

5.
Afghan
Iraqis

As you can see Czechs do not like any nation except Czech. They have more or less positive attitude to the first group. For the rest of the list it varies from negative to extremely negative.

The ranking has almost remained unchanged since the year 2003.

I hope you will not take the ranking too seriously, but you may feel it after some time spent in the Czech republic.

The highest thirteenth salaries - managers in Prague

Who takes most and who takes least? tn.cz has the answer. It seems the crisis did not affect thirteenth salaries. Compared to the last year average 13 th salary rose by 6 percent to 14 565 crowns.

The survey was carried out by Merces and 175 thousand people were questioned.

The representatives of these occupations received the highest thirteenth salaries which are higher than their average monthly earnings:

  • risk managers at banks,
  • consultants,
  • project managers,
  • web developers,
  • croupiers in casinos.

This does not mean that they were rewarded with all the representatives of these professions. And while the third of project managers receives on their account, on average, almost 52 thousand crowns, the rest did not get anything.

In contrast, the lowest thirteenth salaries went to:

  • operators of petrol stations,
  • bus drivers, train dispatcher,
  • operators of machinery and equipment,
  • support staff.

The happiest received over 25 thousand crowns.

Large foreign companies give workers more rewards about 70 percent of their salary. The fifth of civil servants received the half of an average salary.

The amount of remuneration varies according to region. The highest remuneration was in Prague.

Foreigners Police Prague

As far as I see it nothing has changed for the last 10 years in Prague regarding foreigners police or cizinecka policie in Czech. There are always big crowds. Foreigners blame police and police blame foreigners. If you are not EU citizen and do not bribe anyone you may be in this crowd as well. Well, it does not matter that you are American, Canadian, Ukrainian or Vietnamese. People talk a lot about that here but nothing has been done.

Mirek Topolanek Premier Minister - Boxer

Before you decide to visit the Czech Republic you may need to be aware who rules the country. Many people like him for this and would do the same if someone tries to take a picture of your child in push chair:

Czech health care is between top 5 in Europe

This year Czech health care system joined the group of top 5 health care systems in Europe. This ranking is provided by Euro Health Customer Index. The price/quality ratio is better only in Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia and Hungary.
The medical care and services are comparable with Netherlands and Estonia, the only parameter which decreases the ranking is the rights of the customers or patients.
