Mercer company published its research about the length of vacation and number of holidays in different countries. The Czech Republic with 20 days of vacation and 12 days of public holidays was in the bottom of the ranking. European countries looked relatively good in comparison to the North American countries. The leader was Lithuania with 41 days in total followed by Finland and France with 40 days in total.
However, the research was based on statutory defined minimum number of days of leave. Some countries do not have this number defined.
